What to include in a support request
Almost every verification problem is one of three things: a GSTIN that genuinely changed at the source, a malformed request, or a government-side outage that has already passed. Telling those apart takes a handful of details, and a message that arrives with them is usually resolved in a single reply.
- The request id
- Every response carries an X-Request-Id header. It is the fastest way for us to find your exact call in the logs.
- The GSTIN you queried
- Send the GSTIN itself, not a screenshot. Most "wrong data" reports turn out to be a real change at the GST portal that we can point you at.
- The full JSON response
- Including the error code and HTTP status. Paste it as text — the codes are documented and we can usually explain the failure from the payload alone.
- When it happened
- A timestamp with the timezone. Government-side outages are time-boxed, and knowing the window tells us immediately whether you hit one.
- Your API key prefix only
- The first eight characters are enough to identify the account. Never send a full API key by email — rotate it from your dashboard if you think it has leaked.
Answers you can get without waiting
Support replies within a business day, but a good share of the questions we receive are already answered in writing. If you are mid-integration and do not want to wait for a reply, start here.
Endpoint reference, authentication, and a response schema with every field explained.
Error codesWhat each error code means and whether retrying will help.

FAQSetup, billing and integration questions we get asked most often.
Asking for custom or bulk pricing
Published rates run from ₹0.50 per verification down to ₹0.40 above 2,500 credits, with no subscription. Beyond that we quote per account. To get a number back in the first reply rather than the third, tell us your expected monthly verification volume, your peak requests per second, whether the traffic is steady or arrives in overnight batches, and whether you need a GST invoice raised against a specific entity.
If you are still deciding whether the API fits, the GST API access page covers what you can and cannot get programmatically, and the free GST number search lets you see the exact data a verification returns before you write any code.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, email us with the word "security" in the subject line and we will acknowledge it within one business day. Please include the steps to reproduce and give us a reasonable window to ship a fix before publishing anything. Do not test against other people's accounts, and do not include a working API key in the report.
For questions about what we store and for how long, the privacy policy is the authoritative answer, and the terms of service set out the usage limits that apply to every account.
